Iran strikes back at Israel

On Tuesday 01 October  from 2024, Iran attacked with dozens of missiles against Israel. Sirens of alarms were activated in the country, authorities said to people that they have to take shelter in shelters.

Explosions were heard in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Iran launched almost 180 missiles according to Israel Defense Forces (IDF), and 200 missiles according to US. This attack started at 19:45. Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said that the reason from attack was the assassination of Ismail Haniya, leader of Hamas. The Iranian attack came hours after Israel launched an invasion of southern Lebanon, the principal objective was destroying Shiite militia Hezbollah.

After attack, IDF said that there weren't seriusly injured people. Daniel Hagari, the spokesman for the IDF, said that the Iranian attack will have consequences, so the scalation of hostilities between Israel and Iran has become a growing cause for international concern.
